Reinvent mobile homes experience for families based on social networks

Project 1: Chatravel

Context

when? where? who? why?

In the coming years (even today already), because of environmental, health or economic issues, people will want or will be forced to live in mobile homes. People will therefore be travelling a lot or at least moving around once in a while accross their own country or around the world. This projective future based on current facts, highlights the need for people to be agile as they could often be moving around. Once arriving in a new place, mobile home owners will have to find their landmarks, know where the supermarket is, where to find a doctor in case of an emergency, they will have to know the facilities that are provided to them by the local authorities etc.

Our main targets are families, couples, couples that have kids or not.

Service offered

what? how?

We offer mobile home owners an easy-to-use platform that enables them to maintain (or create) social relationships with other mobile homes owners. CHATRAVEL aims at facilitating mobile home owners' arrival in a new place they do not know at all. Each time, they arrive in a new place, they will have the possibility to geolocate other families living in another mobile home near them. That way, mobile home owners will be able to help each other. This platform will have the following features:

- A geolocation feature: Mobile home owners will have access to a map that will show them who is near them but they will also be able to know who is located at the targated destination. That way, mobile home owners will be able to exchange crutial information about places they want to visit. They will communicate pieces of advice that they would not have access to without our platform.

- A travelling blog: A virtual place for each mobile home owner to tell his counterparts about his own travelling stories with personal photos to illustrate it all. Everyone will have the possibility to interact on the different stories and posts. More precisely, everyone will have the possibility to comment and like the posts of one another.

- A messaging feature: In order to help each other, mobile home owners will have the possibility to send messages to each other.

Project 2: Lifeswitch

Context

when? where? who? why?

Nowadays, we can notice that mobile homes are not considered to be very attractive. For most people, mobile homes are very rustic. However, there are in fact a lot of advantages about living in mobile homes and we would like to highlight them by creating Lifeswitch. We can also notice that people are nowadays more and more willing to get in touch with other private individuals in order to match their respective needs and exchange offers that matches between them.

Target

for whom?

Lifeswitch is an app that targets families wanting to temporarily change their house and their way of life by moving to a totally different house in a different environment for a certain period of time.

Service offered

what? how?

We want to offer a customized service that enables families and single individuals from all around the world to exchange their accomodation and their way of life for a few days, weeks or months. For example people living in flats could enjoy a two-week mobile home experience in the South of France. It is up to everyone to chose the specific way of life, the dates and preferences to experience something new and completely different from their everyday life (which city, which mobile home mood to experience, for how long, etc.)

Therefore, our platform aims at putting in contact people that have opposite or at least very different way of life. Especially we want to put the emphasis on mobile homes.

This platform will have the following features:
- A messaging system in order to be in contact with potential people interested in exchanging their house with us.
- A search bar with the possibility to enter the dates for the departure,
- The experience wanted (whether in a New Yorker flat or in a mobile home located in a French forest for example),
- The number of travellers,
- The equipments (TV, wifi, washing-machine, car) that comes with the accomodation,
- ...
